Lovely location for a family occasion.
The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Chester. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Good quality towels. Separate dining room and large living room offer plenty of space for social time. Reasonably clean.
Access is an issue. Local restaurants place their rubbish bins in the narrow late and sometimes it was difficult to get in and out. It's a shame the lane is not kept cleaner. There are quite steep steps to get up to the flat. We had an elderly person with us and it was a bit of an issue. Also more stairs inside the apartment that we were not aware of.

Stayed at Whitegates for a weekend getaway. Lovely spacious apartment, newly refurbished with all mod cons. Very clean and comfortable, especially the beds. Prime location in the heart of Chester, close to everything. Owner went above and beyond with assistance, even posting a forgotten coat back to us at no extra cost. Allowed us to leave our cases for a little longer, giving us time for a nice breakfast out. Lovely lady to deal with. Can't recommend highly enough.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The apartment was spacious and clean, with a modern and stylish interior design. It had a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room with a TV. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city, close to all the amenities and attractions. Plus, there were several 24-hour car parks nearby, making it convenient for those with a car.
The access to the apartment was a bit difficult, with steep stairs and a passage filled with garbage bins. the WiFi signal was weak on the first floor, which was a bit inconvenient.

the apartment was huge and had two toilets, perfect for our group of eight. We appreciated the fresh milk and tea and coffee provided. The central location was ideal and the host was understanding and helpful when we lost the key. We will definitely stay here again!

The location of this apartment was absolutely mind-blowing! It was right in the heart of the city, making it super convenient for exploring. The spaciousness and jaw-dropping interior design of the flat left us speechless. Not to mention, it was impressively clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the cookware and kitchen utensils we needed, and the flat-screen TV in the living room was a great addition for relaxing after a long day of hiking and golfing. The owner's helpful information prior to arrival was a nice touch, and the VIP check-in/-out made us feel like VIPs ourselves. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Plus, the fact that the apartment didn't allow pets or smoking on site was a huge bonus for us. We had a truly unforgettable experience and would definitely stay here again!

Stayed at a lovely and clean apartment with a larger than expected property. the location was perfect, right in the city centre, making everything easily accessible. Had a slight issue with the heating on New Year's Eve, but the owner promptly came to help and even provided temporary heaters just in case, which weren't needed.
A great experience at Whitegates. Cons: Nothing at all!
